Really enjoyed a visit here with the family. It's a guided tour round the man made caves which obviously have a lot of history. The guide didn't speak that much he just sort of took you round, pointed the odd thing out and told you some history, but was often quite difficult to hear. I would recommend reading some of the history of the place before visiting. Also get there in good time, tours kick off in the hour and had already started despite us getting there with 2 mins to spare.
An awesome place to visit. We did the tour with my 2 year old son and there was no problem. The guide was an expert on the subject and funny. the tour lasted more than an hour, but it was not tedious. I recommend it.

Lovely. Great for families or a picnic with friends. Ducks are nive are nice to observe with children. Can be a great effort to get to (and a greater effort when leaving) due to steep hill type pathways, which the only real down point. However, this may be a bonus for exercise fanatics. All in all lovely.
A very very steep descent to get to the playground no cycling beyond the point at the top very nice and big sand pit for the kids lovely walks lovely Gardens and flowers Orpington itself is a bit of a dive

I've been visiting Kelsey Park for years and years, and the joy I get from each visit never wains. Now there are more bird varieties than ever before. I counted as many as 6 herons roosting on the main lake area together with a pair of black swans and multitudes of other feathered visitors. The trees are spectacular bringing a sense of calm beauty. Last evening I saw some of the gigantic carp that populate the lake, golden coloured as well as dark grey. If you wait and observe you will be able to notice water rats scurrying near the water's edge, especially in the evening. Altogether a wonderful park to visit at any time of the year.
Really lovely park, good play area and cafe. Beautiful scenic grounds which include a gated dog free area which is good for picnics with the children and also a pond with ducks/geese. Beware of the over friendly squirrels and also the local rats I have spotted near the pond! There are toilets by the cafe/play area
